We hope this doesn't happen but understand that this may happen from time to time. We would advise you to think about the person who sent you this unexpected gift, enjoy the feeling of graitude that it was you who they thought of to send a gift to and use 'I'm going to re-read this book' as an excuse to loose your self in a good book. After all, the gift of kindness doesn't stop there, as when you 'pay it forward' and you send the book on to someone else they will be on the receiving end of your kindness too.

We have huge dreams at Random Book of Kindness and would love to offer alternatives for those with intolerences (i.e. Gluten) or for those that do not eat dairy for example, however we're a brand new small business so unfortunately at the minute we aren't able to offer alternatives.....though watch this space as this is something we would like to change in the future.

You are doing something amazing by ordering some kindness in a box for someone who deserves to have a smile on their face, so as a random act of kindness to you we do not charge for standard delivery. Our standard delivery is by Royal Mail Second Class however if you need the gift quickly we do offer the option of Royal Mail First Class for a small fee of £3.70 which will be added to your order at checkout.

Unfortunately now, we only deliver to mainland UK addresses at the minute.

I like your thinking!! My first ever Gratitude Run included "I cant offer many things to people during this bizzare time of social isolation and lockdown but what I can do is share some love with some amazing and inspiring people ...it's not a big gesture, it's not going to change the world but I sincerly hope each nomination puts a smile on someone's face for at least a few minutes and they hear my heart felt THANK YOU". So although Random Book of Kindness may not change the world, I hope each one of our gifts change someones mood for the better, if only briefly.

I'm sure that the recipient of a Random Book of Kindness gift will be touched by your gesture and your random act of kindness, however if they do want to return their gift box it can be returned with all items included in their original condition. In order for returns to be processed we will need to be notified within 28 days of purchase.
